This year something's missing from the registrar's office. The phone isn't ringing, students aren't coming in the door, and the forms for ordering transcripts are gone. Why?
Because the school office has put the system for ordering
transcripts where students want it: on the Web. Thanks to a new service called
Parchment, you can now request transcripts online, and have them sent
directly to colleges. All you'll have to do is look for the
link on the school website and log in.
High school students will have to visit http://www.parchment.com first in order to set up an account with parchment. Docufide by Parchment takes care of sending out official transcripts, checked and approved by the school, to the colleges and scholarship funds you choose. You'll get an email when each transcript is sent, and for colleges that accept transcripts electronically, when they receive it as well.
So if you're applying to college this year, you'll find transcripts are one less thing you have to worry about.
The Docufide SaaS suite, a full FERPA compliant application, is comprised of two inter-related modules: Docufide Sender® and Docufide Receiver®. Together, these modules facilitate the request, processing and delivery of verified electronic education credentials linking schools, universities and other institutional stakeholders.
For all current student and those who attended QHHS between 1999 to the present, you can now order your official high school transcripts online through Docufide. Docufide is a Nationwide Secure Transcript™ service that creates a secure, paperless environment for sending student transcripts to any college, scholarship fund, or address of your choosing. Colleges who prefer transcripts in paper format will receive official transcripts on special security paper. Docufide provides a list of accredited colleges nationwide, as well as NCAA.
To send your transcript, go to http://www.parchment.comand select “Order Transcript.” Click on new user and then enter the school name: Quartz Hill High School. You are then prompted to set up an account and select the destination – colleges, scholarship funds, your home address, etc. All order deliveries are confirmed by e-mail and transcripts are sent within 24 hours. There is a minimal fee for each transcript ordered.
Ordering transcripts directly from QHHS
For students who attended or graduated prior to 1999, please use the linked transcript request form or mail a typed request, and money order for $8.00 to Quartz Hill High School, Attn: Transcripts, 6040 W. Ave. L, Quartz Hill, CA 93536. Be sure to include your “full name used while attending,” birth date, year of graduation, and address where transcript should be mailed. Please sign your request and include your daytime phone number. A photocopy of a valid picture I.D. must accompany transcripts being sent to a home address. Transcripts are usually processed within 5-7 days of receipt.
